Scope of Work

The scope at the 6th Floor included: central HVAC systems integrated with the building infrastructure, FM200 fire suppression protecting server rooms and vaults, and early warning fire alarm systems linked to the building central control panels. The project was executed over 6 months while respecting other tenants requirements in the building. All systems were delivered per Barclays Group British standards.

Challenges & Solutions

The 6th Floor location in an occupied building imposed unique challenges: integrating HVAC and fire suppression systems with the building central infrastructure required precise coordination with building management and other tenants. Barclays British standards also required bilingual technical documentation and precise testing protocols. We overcame these challenges through organized work schedules and a dedicated coordination team.

Outcome

The Barclays Egypt Main Branch was handed over passing all British testing protocols on the first attempt. Van Tech achieved full compliance with Barclays Group international standards. This achievement reinforced Van Tech capability to execute British bank projects to global standards in the Egyptian market.
