Partnership Insights

Strategic Overview

Orange Egypt, formerly known as MOBINIL, is one of Egypt's leading telecom operators. Over the course of our partnership, Van Tech delivered full MEP and Fire Suppression solutions across more than 30 branches spanning 12 governorates, from Alexandria in the north to Aswan in the south.

Scope of Work

Each branch required a turnkey package covering central air conditioning systems, FM200 fire suppression, low-current networks, and power distribution. Projects ranged from compact 3-month express fit-outs to extended 7-month flagship installations in major destinations such as Dandy Mall, Sun City Mall, and Mercato Sharm El-Sheikh. All systems were handed over fully tested and commissioned per Orange Egypt technical standards.

Challenges & Solutions

Operating across geographically diverse sites—from the Delta governorates (Tanta, Mahalla, Kafr El-Sheikh) to Upper Egypt (Sohag, Aswan) and Sinai (Arish, Sharm El-Sheikh)—demanded a robust logistics framework and dedicated site teams. We deployed pre-fabricated duct assemblies and standardized installation kits to compress on-site durations without compromising quality. Precision cooling load calculations were performed for each site to right-size equipment and minimize energy consumption. Coastal sites like Port Said required salt-air-resistant equipment selections.

Outcome

The successful delivery of 30+ Orange Egypt branches established Van Tech as a preferred MEP contractor within the Egyptian telecom sector. Average project duration was maintained at 5 months, and all branches passed Orange Egypt's internal commissioning audits on first attempt. A long-term framework agreement followed, reflecting the client's confidence in our capabilities.

Why Van Tech

Van Tech's edge lies in its multidisciplinary in-house teams capable of delivering HVAC, fire suppression, and low-current systems under a single contract. This eliminates coordination gaps, reduces project risk, and guarantees a unified quality standard across every branch—whether in Cairo, Alexandria, or a remote governorate like Aswan or North Sinai. Clients choose Van Tech because one team owns the full scope, from design to commissioning.
