Strategic Overview

Union Bank Egypt is an Egyptian bank with a distinguished presence in upscale Cairo areas. The bank selected Van Tech to deliver MEP and fire protection systems at its El Zamalek branch—one of Cairo most prestigious districts—imposing exceptional finishing standards befitting the area character.

Scope of Work

The scope included: concealed HVAC systems preserving the architectural aesthetics of the upscale El Zamalek location, FM200 fire suppression protecting server rooms and vaults, early warning fire alarm systems, and electrical power distribution. The project was executed over 6 months. All systems were delivered with finishing befitting the distinguished El Zamalek location.

Challenges & Solutions

The El Zamalek location imposed unique architectural challenges: the area historic buildings require non-invasive installation techniques preserving historic facades, while the upscale residential character demanded strict noise and dust control throughout execution. We overcame these challenges through specialized installation methods and strict cleanliness and safety procedures.
